OUR MISSION

To develop and execute community-focused initiatives that will provide upward mobility and progressive lifestyles for all Baltimore residents with authority, empowerment, and energy. We offer programs that grant residents access to nutritional foods, safe and secure housing options, security and safety procedures to decrease crime, and youth development programs to educate and mentor our communities' youth properly.

Every year, there is an increase of Baltimore residents who face hardships in the areas of Health, Housing, and Education.

The majority of Baltimore residents, particularly Harlem Park, have limited resources, information, and opportunities. This has lead to an exponential growth in unemployment, housing displacement, the disruption of educational advancement, and poor health and nutrition. Approximately 18 percent of people in Baltimore live in a "food desert" — a low-income area without supermarkets or other access to healthful foods. Residents are not only faced with the direct challenges listed above, but also experience the secondary effects such as the increased occurrences in crime, terminal illnesses, financial hardship, and isolation from the necessaries needed to help them advance. The current profile below provides an overview of how these challenges have affected our communities.
