Program Overview
The mission of our Home Ownership Program is to create stakeholders of Harlem Park and West Baltimore through homeownership. In understanding what it takes to cultivate a thriving community, we've developed a program to assist existing and potential residents in maintaining their stake in their respective communities. Additionally, we are providing educational components that will equip them to tackle other obstacles head-on.
Our Homeownership Program will include a variety of customized coursework in the areas of financial literacy, credit repair, and insights on homeownership. We believe that to be successful homeowners and establish generational wealth, certain fundamental platforms must be in place for people to access. We provide complimentary workshops into our programs for all eligible participants, who will have a plethora of resources to utilize upon completion of the program.
Harlem Park CDC will work closely with our approved HUD Partners, who are experts in their respective fields.
Our program includes:

FINANCIAL LITERACY REVIEW AND CREDIT MANAGEMENT
ACCESS TO LENDERS along with guidance on financing
ASSISTANCE WITH THE CLOSING PROCESS AND FINAL STEPS
